New Sustainable Coffee Shop Opening in Lichfield
The George Hotel in Lichfield is delighted to announce they are working in partnership with Suffolk-based coffee company, Paddy & Scott’s, to open a new coffee shop in Lichfield next week.
Paddy & Scott’s, the sustainable and community-focused brand, is set to entice the people of Lichfield with a coffee from their Muchomba farm in Kenya. The farm is located 300 kilometres north of Nairobi in the shade of the eastern side of Mount Kenya and is where George Muchomba and his eldest son Isaac work to create one of the finest coffee farms in the world.
Anthony Greenidge, General Manager of The George Hotel, commented: “We have been working with Paddy & Scott’s for two years now in the hotel, serving their community driven coffee at breakfast and in the bar. This new partnership is a fantastic addition to Lichfield and we know the community will love the ethos and messaging of the Paddy & Scott’s brand which is all about working directly with the farmers and supporting the communities in the coffee growing regions”.
The new Paddy & Scott’s coffee shop will open on Tuesday 3rd October and from then be open from 8am, 7 days a week. The café will serve a range of hot drinks and freshly prepared sandwiches with bread sourced locally from Gayton’s bakery. Customers can choose to savour their brew inside the café with its comfy seating and welcoming atmosphere, sit outside, or opt for take out to soak up the vibrant city.
