Welcome to The George Hotel where our aim is to make your stay in Lichfield as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

The George is full of history, character and charm and has been owned and run by the Webb family for over 20 years - we believe that it’s this personal touch that sets us apart.

Breakfast

Enjoy a delicious full English breakfast when you stay at The George Hotel.

Breakfast is served in our restaurant, situated just off the Lounge Bar, where you can enjoy a Continental or a full English breakfast.
We will take your order for tea and coffee along with white or brown toast and you are welcome to help yourself to the breakfast buffet.

Breakfast is charge at £14.50 if it is not included in your rate.

Breakfast Opening Hours

Monday to Friday: 6.30am to 9.30am

Saturday, Sunday & Bank Holidays: 8.00am to 10am. Continental breakfast is served from 7am.

Grab & Go Breakfast

Early start tomorrow? You can order a Grab & Go Breakfast bag of croissant, pastry, banana, fruit yoghurt and orange juice to take away for £7.95.  Please place your order with Reception before 8pm the night before and you can collect your breakfast from Reception on the day of departure.

Check Out Time

You are required to vacate your bedroom by 11am on the day of departure. Please remember to deposit your key card at Reception before leaving the hotel.

Express Check Out is available for pre-authorised accounts. Please pick up a form from Reception. Late check out may be available, subject to availability, at a charge of £15 per hour. If not requested, a fine of £15 per hour may apply for late check out until 1pm. For Saturday night stays, our “Lazy Sunday” late check out option allows you to keep your bedroom on a Sunday until 6pm for an extra charge of £40 per room. Book Direct

Booking direct, either through our website or by calling our Reservations team, means you always get the best rate and a more flexible cancellation policy. Plus, all direct bookings and bookings via Best Western, car parking is complimentary. If you have booked through a third party site (such as Booking.com or Expedia) a car parking charge of £8 per night applies and will be charged to your hotel bill for settlement on arrival.

Parking

Please note that from 1st June 2024, a £10 overnight car parking fee will be introduced.
